As an official pre-party (on an unoffical holiday) to Golden Record NYC's throwdown the next night with the legend Gene Hunt, A.Arias and Analog Soul, we're bringing Sequencias hocho JM De Frias to Jupiter Disco to show one more time why he's one of the best DJs we know in NYC, as well as the operator of one of the scene's finest labels. We can go on about the releases by Jamal Moss, Area/m50, D'Marc Cantu, Nick Lapien, and plenty more, and discuss in depth how de Frias' searching style on the decks transcends all limitations of genre across house, techno, disco, cosmic ambient music, funk, jazz, and more. Instead, we're just going to let him spread out on the system to do what he does best while everyone gets warmed up for the festivities of the following evening.
